Have you ever heard the saying “Ill cross that bridge when I get there”?
There’s a lot of truth to that, and I do use that statement often so that I don’t end up stressing myself out about certain things. Tonight, I’ve been doing some introspecting, and as I was about to reason, “I’ll cross that bridge when I get there” another thought struck me..

“But what if you arrived at the wrong bridge?”

Sometimes, going with the flow is the easiest thing to do, by default. It may require the least amount of effort, but without thinking too deeply into this abstraction, it undeniably requires an investment of self and time…an investment that one must rethink., maintain status or reinvest in more important things? In my case, there’s always an opportunity cost to everything.
As I continue to ponder, I was reminded that my actions, including the decisions that I make, will affect them…and they don’t have to be present for that to happen. Hence, I must therefore choose all of my investments responsibly and with caution. i can’t afford to chase after every opportunity, though they may be seemingly or genuinely good. i don’t want to mess up, so I rely on God to give me the wisdom that i need. And, i have to make sure I surround myself with the right crowd, for one thing.
So, are you following the wrong current? Theres nothing wrong with going with the flow, just make sure you’re in the right one!
